Our school values choice and student voice, and we offer a variety of campus and career opportunities to connect 100% of our students to SVHS. We also prioritize the development of our teachers and staff, providing them with opportunities to lead campus training and improvement projects.
 
Smithson Valley High School enjoys a rich history of excellence academically and in all of our extracurricular events.  In fact, according to the Scientific Business Journal, Smithson Valley High School has been named one of the premier high schools in the San Antonio area for the last six years in a row.
